| If somebody asked me which is more fun – dancing Lindy Hop or taking pictures of the dance, it would be a tough question to answer. Every time I bring my camera to the dance floor, I have to choose – to observe the dancers' movements, the ambience of the lighting, and the click of my camera, or to surrender to the music and the rhythm of the dance. Usually the fusion of both wins. Therefore not only have I collected many snapshots of the dancers, but I've also learned how to dance Lindy Hop. |

Dancer’s Dream

| Lindy Hop dancers' faces are really expressive, and unpredictable. They are made to be immortalized! An extraordinary force and extreme passion spring from the portraits that I capture. My portraits reveal mysterious depths unnoticeable at first glance: hidden attraction and desire, tensions, impulses
streaming through the dancer’s body, melancholic expectation, anxious observation or an intimate nearness and sensuality... |

| My passion for photography evolved with a passion for Lindy Hop, where I discovered the freedom of dance, self-expression, communication and mood. I have never really met so many joyful people – it's like a different world, like a movie where everything is real. With an infinite joy I appreciate each and every moment of this dance where I capture the dancers losing themselves in jazz and swing music. Lindy Hop is an experience of indescribable and unique moments, where I sometimes find myself as well. |
